THE MANNIMALS: Oct 31, 2007: Happy Halloween!!

Every year Athena outdoes her efforts from the previous year with the costumes we/the kids have chosen... And of course this year was no different! The first several are cute ones I took of Athena getting Avi ready:

So here's a shot of the finished products. Matrim chose to be a vampire and we found a good costume for him. Avi took more time, but when all was said and done we decided on Snow Princess.

Another one of my favorites!! Good job on another great success, Mom! Matrim was VERY SCARY and authentic looking, and Avi was the epitome of a Snow Princess.

Mat's school shirt also arrived.

We tried to go over and do a Haunted Walk and get some cheap food at the folf course in Manila, but it wasn't really our speed and we were running short on Trick or Treat time for Mat, so we took off.

Another year of getting dressed up to cruise the neighborhood in the stroller while munching treats! :)

There are always several people in our neighborhood that go all out enough to keep it fun each year. We liked this one. You can just see the hand in front of Mat's face that they stuck out a trap door in the cardboard to drop the candy. :)

It has been SO fun every Halloween with Athena and the kids! I like it more now than I did as a kid and I don't really like candy hardly at all any more even.

Time to check the haul!

Mat always does a friendly job of sharing his candy with the rest of us (and there always seems to be plenty to go around)! Avi, Athena, and I end up with a nice little candy stash of what Mat doesn't want or is nice enough to give us.
